Cork and Ale Festival

3rd Annual Haymarket Cork & Ale Festival

Friday, April 24th, from 7:00 to 10:00pm

Holiday Inn Downtown, 9th & P Streets, Lincoln, NE

Tickets $30 each or two for $50

The Cork & Ale Festival is a fundraising event for the Historic Haymarket. The Historic Haymarket, a designated National Historic District, will use the proceeds towards the continued revitalization and beautification of the area. Ongoing projects include addressing traffic concerns, enhancing public spaces, providing street amenities and the continuation and promotion of community events, such as Breakfast with Santa, Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy, Cork & Ale Festival and the Haymarket Farmer’s Market.

LHDC built its mission statement and original goals around the Main Street Approach, which is a preservation of the built environment and of the human resources of the downtown or neighborhood business district. The mission statement remains unchanged today and the goals and objectives reflect much of the original LHDC goals referred to as DOPER (Design, Organization, Promotion, Economic Restructuring).

LHDC Mission Statement
