Modern Monks tapping at the Bricktop

Friday, March 12th from 4 to 9pm
1427 'O' St - Lincoln (next door to Yia Yia's)

This week at Bricktop will be a double tapping/meet the Brewers party with the Modern Monks.

First, we will feature their winter ale Bad Behavior, a unique reddish hued ale brewed with Wheat, Rye and Barley Malt. A liberal mash hopping introduces an assertive hop flavor without too much bitterness. This beer weighs in at 7.0% ABV.
Second, we will be offering a complimentary Bob 3.0 Sour Ale with the purchase of Bad Behavior. Bob 3.0 is Modern Monks blended combination of:

60%- 100% Brettanomyces fermented Monks Baltic Porter
24%- 2009 Monks Triple femented w/Lambic culture.
8%- 2006 Monks Sour Saison w/Lambic culture.
8%- 100% Brettanomyces fermented Monks Bad Behavior.

Bob 1.0 was served at Bricktop's inaugural Friday tapping party, and Bob 2.0 quickly became infamous at Omaha's Extreme Beerfest last month. Bob 3.0 is the latest creation, and has a pleasant roast and malt character to it delivered from the addition of the 100% brettanomyces fermented Baltic Porter. This will go quick, and no wild ale lover should miss it.
