De Molen 'Engels' Tapping Party @ Bricktop

We have a fantastic tapping party this Friday featuring a delicious 'sessionable' ale from the tiny but renowned Dutch brewery, Brouwerij de Molen. This will also be the breweries draft debut in the state of Nebraska.

I am personally under the belief that De Molen is one of the top breweries in the world. They brew on a tiny 5 hectoliter system (just 132 gallons), making their production extremely limited. This will be the first of several De Molen releases that we were able to get our hands on. So without further ado, this Friday we will be featuring 'Engels'. Styled to be an English bitter, and weighing in at 4.5%, Engels is a wonderful session ale with notes of caramel and biscuit, as well as a fruitiness from the hops and a crisp but delicate bitterness. A testament to it's greatness, RateBeer has this one in the top 100 percentile of the English Bitter style.

A great beer for a relaxing Friday tapping party.

Cheers.

I wish I could be in Lincoln for this one. Jason, let me know if it tastes like wet dog...
