Status of Derailleur Tap Room

Fellow Nebraskan lovers of Craft Beer,

There is some sad news for the community, as District/Derailleur Tap Room has closed for business abbruptly. I do not have a lot of details to share other than it was a hard decision for the owners. I would like to personally thank everyone who made the craft beer portion of the operation a success. I feel that in a very short time we were able change the standard for Craft Beer quality and appreciation in the Lincoln area, and the Friday tapping parties had become a weekly tradition that will be missed by many.

Please also be assured that my job is not done in the Lincoln craft beer community, and the show will go on. Please stay tuned!

Jason--everyone here at NBC is certainly bummed at this news! Hope you can find a new gig to help spread the joy of great beer to Lincoln!

Big loss for Lincoln's growing craft beer scene. Hopefully a new home for the great craft brews will be found soon.

I remember drinking Jason's great Mochachino beer there and excellent service from Heather as she helped my wife and I try several different international beers from brewers that where unique to us at the time.
Achilles, Mikkeller, N0gne, Etc...
Thank you for the foggy memories and great beer.

Sláinte,

Ryan
