Jake's Friday Tapping Parties (Lincoln Belgian IPA & Omaha Fresh Hops)

Jake's Friday (10/14) tapping parties:

LINCOLN will be getting into a tasty treat from our friends at Upstream Brewing Company up in Omaha called Nirvana Belgian IPA.

From the breweries website "Citrusy hops dominate the scent along with aromas of orange, lemon, and tangerine. There is also a hint of piney hops. To taste there is sweetness up front, with nice hop bitterness on the back end. Some of the eclectic flavors of that stand out are banana, grapefruit, orange, and even a hint of clove makes itself known. This beer does such a great job of bringing together the flavor profiles of Belgian Saison & Abby yeasts (seven strains in all) & a Nebraska wild apple cider microflora. Drink Up! 1.061 OG, 6.6 ABV, 63 IBU"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA will be a rocking with their own celebration of the recent hop harvest with Great Divide's yearly offering of Fresh Hop Pale Ale.

From the breweries website "Brewed with fresh, whole cone hops from the Pacific Northwest. We ship these “wet” hops to Denver overnight and brew shortly after harvest, imparting an intensely grassy hop aroma and citrus hop flavor in a medium-bodied ale. 6.1% ABV"

This one is a personal favorite every year, get it while it's fresh!

5:30 pm Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
