Canning Line Stolen in Iowa

In news of the "I can't believe they pulled that off" someone has stolen a canning line from a brewery in Davenport Iowa.  Here is the article from the Omaha World Herald.

I have a lot of questions about this and the first being, what the hell are you going to do with it?  I am pretty sure there isn't a pawn shop or a black market for these things.  I guess it has a lot of steel and stainless on it so it could be scrapped but seriously, why steal from a brewery.

The next question is how did this theft not get seen by someone?  It is not like you can break a window and stuff the thing down your pants and walk out.  You would need some serious help and equipment to get away from the scene.  I am guessing it was partially destroyed in the theft too, because I imagine they had no idea how to dismantle it to load it.

Just a really messed up story and I hope they get back up and going soon and it appears a Nebraska brewery has offered to help them can in the interim.  I am guessing that is Blue Blood but I am not sure.  Nice work whoever it is that has offered to help.

I think when they catch these guys they should just run them through the canning line as punishment.
