Jake's Friday Tappings: Lincoln- Double Tapping Small Batch Samuel Adams / Omaha‏‏- Boulevard Collaboration #3

Friday (8/17) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: This Friday will be a double tapping party for two delicious small batch beers from Samuel Adams.  Of course known for being brewing super power, they do still take the time to make some fun projects that hit more of an experimental note, these two beers are just that.

Norse Legend- "This ancient Finnish-style brew dates back to the 1500s as one of the oldest continuously brewed styles. Deep amber in color, this rugged brew’s distinctive aroma and flavor comes from aging on a bed of juniper berries. The herbal, woodsy, and ripe citrus character of the juniper enlivens a sturdy and smooth malt backbone for a fresh and flavorful brew. At Samuel Adams we love experimenting, This series of limited edition brews represents some of our favorite small batch creations."

Black & Brew- "Our coffee stout is a dark brew that combines roasted coffee with a rich, full-bodied stout. For the authentic coffee flavor, we use 1.5 pounds of Sumatran coffee beans per barrel, added late in the brewing process to provide the most flavor possible. This brew finishes with underlying roasty notes of chocolate, caramel, and dark fruit from our select blend of malts."

Get down early and grab a Samuel Adams T-shirt!

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha has a very special treat in store with the tapping of Boulevard Collaboration #3

"Collaboration #3 Stingo was brewed using traditional English ingredients. A variety of ale and specialty malts from Yorkshire are at the forefront; their pronounced roasty aroma and flavor contain hints of toffee, cocoa and bread crust. English hop varieties contribute subtle herbal, peppery qualities. The beer was brewed in batches; some was fermented on oak, some was fermented normally, and some was allowed to sour in the mash tun before being transferred to a fermenter. Boulevard’s brewers, along with Dann and Martha Paquette of Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project, then blended the batches until desired levels of wood and tartness were achieved for the final product."
