Modern Monks

When: Mon, Aug 27 at 5:00 p.m.
Where: Misty's Steakhouse, 200 N. 11th St, Lincoln

> The Monks will be unveiling their seasonal Oktoberfest beer at 5:00 p.m.
> Live polka tunes from the Bolzen Beer Band out on the patio

Gerda's

When: Fri, Sep 7 from 5:00 p.m. until the beer runs out
When Sat, Sep 8 from 3:00 pm until the beer runs out
Where: Gerda’s German Restaurant and Bakery, 5180 Leavenworth Street, Omaha

> Restaurant open with all menu items available
> 4 taps of German fest beer
> Admission is free
> Jager girls
> Glasseware and t-shirts for purchase
> Music by Dave Salom's Band
> Will have Oktoberfest faire (e.g., roast chicken, bratwurst, knackwurst, roast pork, pretzels, desserts, spätzle, sauerkraut, German potato salad…)

German-American Society

When: Fri, Sep 14 from 5:00 p.m. to midnight
When: Sat, Sep 15 from 12:00 p.m. to midnight
Where: German-American Society, 3717 South 120th Street, Omaha

Friday

> Admission $3.00 per person
> Raffle tickets are available at $1.00 each
> Music provided by Barry Boyce Band and Alpensterne

Saturday

> Admission $4.00 per person, kids 12 and under free
> Arcade games and face Painting for kids (12:00 to 6:00 p.m.)
> Music provided by Musikanten, Alpensterne, and Barry Boyce Band
> Heimat Tänzer German folk dancers
> Die Singenden Wanderer folk singers
> Beer drinking contest
> Tapping of the ceremonial keg at 2:00 p.m.
> Jägermeister girls (8:00 to 10:00 p.m.)
> Several raffle prizes with the grand prize of one round-trip to Germany
> Shop the Festmarket for t-shirts, steins, chocolates, and much more
> Entire facility will be open to the public with free shuttle bus service
> Bratwurst, chicken, roast pork, schnitzel, German potato salad, sauerkraut, German tortes, etc.

Okto Beerfest
