Jake's Friday Tappings: Lincoln- Empyrean Saison / Omaha‏- Weihenstephaner Festbier

Friday (9/7) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: Empyrean has been making some great one-off beers, and this week will be the release of a great Saison that from our great buddies down the street.  They have brewed up a delicious and refreshing farmhouse ale with some great nice citrus notes and pleasant tartness with the addition of Lemon Grass.

Get down and enjoy a pint or two with the Empyrean guys!

**LINCOLN BONUS TAPPING** We are not done yet, as we will also be getting in to the newest release from the New Belgium 'Lips of Faith' series, Peach Porch Lounger.

Brewery description: "Peach Porch Lounger is the lovechild Saison of musician G. Love and New Belgium. The glowing orange beer is a groovy mix of peaches, hominy grits, molasses and lemon peel with pale and biscuit malts. Brettanomyces yeast brings a bold, sweet nose and the beer ends with a dry finish"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: It's that time of year again, when delicious malty German-style amber lagers flow like waterfalls.  Omaha will tapping the delicious Weihenstephaner Festbier from Freising, Germany.

Brewery description: "A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!"
