Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Sierra Nevada Narwhal Imperial Stout / Omaha: Shmaltz Freaktoberfest

Friday (10/19) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: Every once in a while our keg cooler gets a first crack at a future legend.  It seems everything Sierra Nevada has touched has turned to gold.  Whether it be through their brewing innovations that have changed the entire landscape of craft brewing, or their ability to continously create outstanding beers that become cornestones of their styles.  We are very excited to be tapping a keg of Narwhal Imperial Stout, Sierra’s newest beer in the High Altitude Series.

Brewery description: "Narwhal Imperial Stout is he latest beer in Sierra Nevada’s  High Altitude Series. This malt-forward monster is bold – with notes of baker’s cocoa, molasses, and dark roasted coffee. This massive imperial stout is incredibly complex, rich, and intense"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha is feeling strangely festive this Friday, and will be showing it with the tapping of Coney Island Freaktoberfest from the Shmaltz Brewing Company (makers of HE'BREW).  This Oktoberfest-styled & Halloween themed beer is described by the brewery as a "Blood Red Lager" that uses 6 malts & 6 hops, coming out at 6.66% ABV.

Brewery description: "Beer creeps and lager freaks! Arise and taken possesion of this bewitched offering of the season crafted to lure your spirit’s deepest rapture. Conjured to exorcise the grim horrors of the armies of soulless drafts everywhere."

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
