We are still
awaiting official word from the brewery itself, but we at Nebrask Beer have
received word from multiple reliable sources that Oskar Blues Brewery is set to
arrive and be available for purchase in Nebraska starting sometime this month.
The Longmont, CO based brewery started operations in 1997 has been responsible
for several award winning beers including Dale’s Pale Ale, Old Chub, Gubna, and
Ten Fidy. They are well known for being one of the first craft breweries in the
U.S. to can all their beers from their inception. In 2013, Oskar Blues opened a
satellite brewery in North Carolina which nearly doubled their annual
production. Their beers have been available in 32 states prior to making it to
Nebraska.
As more is
known, we will report it to you. Stay tuned to Nebraska Beer, your source for
Nebraska craft beer news.
