Cut Spike Distillery To Release Their Latest Batch of Award Winning Whiskey
LA VISTA, NE – Cut Spike Distillery, the sister company to Lucky Bucket Brewing Company, is excited to announce the release of its third batch of award winning single malt whiskey. The widely popular spirit has already hit retail markets in the Lincoln and the Omaha Metro areas. The single malt will be available for sale at the distillery starting July 1st.
Cut Spike Distillery has been distilling spirits in La Vista since 2008 and prides itself in producing unique, hand crafted spirits. Cut Spike Single Malt Whiskey is distilled from wash brewed from 100% malted barley. The whiskey is then proofed with limestone-filtered water sourced from the Sandhills of Nebraska. After aging for two years in newly charred American oak barrels, the spirits is hand bottled and labeled and released to the public.
The distillery has been sold out of the single malt whiskey since March due to its popularity. The first batch of Cut Spike Single Malt Whiskey was released in August 2013. The whiskey was awarded a double gold medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014. The distillery and its spirits continue to receive rave reviews from industry critics.
