This afternoon we received word that Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. will soon be making its way to store shelves across the Cornhusker State. Decorah, Iowa (population 8,100), located in the far northeast corner of the state, is home to one of the consistently highest ranked breweries according to fans of BeerAdvocate and RateBeer. The brewery was started in May 2009 by Clark and Barb Lewey and has become one of the most sought-after craft brands throughout the country.
From their press release-----
(Decorah, IA) Toppling Goliath Brewing Company president Clark Lewey is pleased to announce that a distribution agreement has been reached with Johnson Brothers to distribute its beers throughout the State of Nebraska.
"This is a great day for beer lovers throughout Nebraska," said Todd Johnson, COO of Johnson Brothers, which also distributes Toppling Goliath in Iowa and Minnesota. "Their beers are fantastic and we couldn't be more excited to introduce them to the Nebraska market."
Editor Note: Nebraska becomes the fourth state that Toppling Goliath distributes to joining Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Toppling Goliath is no stranger to success. They have won dozens of awards and are consistently ranked as one of the top craft breweries in the world. Three of their beers are currently listed in the top 50 on BeerAdvocate. Later this fall, Toppling Goliath will be looking to begin building a second brewery location with expected completion in June 2016. The second location will more than double the brewery's current capacity and will have much needed acreage for future growth.
Added Lewey: "I am so proud of the hard work our team at TG has put in since we started six years ago."

Welcome to Nebraska, Toppling Goliath!
