Mega Tapping Party @ Bricktop

This Friday is a very special day for us at Bricktop (the best day in the bar's history in my opinion). Please come celebrate the unveiling of our 12 new draft lines. Yep, that will make it 32 taps dedicated to craft beer. And we will be throwing a ton of new delicious treats on for the party.

First, our featured beer is arguably the best beer New Belgium has ever made, a sour ale brewed with peach juice named Eric's Ale. From the brewery "Eric's Ale, named for long time New Belgium brewer Eric Salazar, combines a dry, sour beer aged up to three years in oak foeders with a semi sweet, higher alcohol base beer. The resulting blend is re-fermented with peach juice, creating a smooth ale with subtle peach tones and a warm, spicy finish. The aroma has pleasant hints of vanilla and tropical fruit, the wood characteristics are present but nicely muted." Holy S***!

Second, Reissdorf Kölsch is the beer specialty from Cologne, Germany with a tradition starting 1894. This is a Kölsch with a pleasant, full-bodied, and uniquely light and sweet taste. Basically, it is incredible. If you are a familiar with the Kölsch style, this is the perfect example. Absolutely delicious this time of year.

Third is Tipopils. A classic German Pilsner brewed nowhere other than Lurago Marinone, Italy by Birrificio Italiano. Four types of Hallertauer hops are used in this delicate but bitter beer including Magnum, Perle, Hersbrücker, and Saaz. This is an incredibly refreshing beer that has a Rate Beer rating of 100.

Fourth, Kapuziner Weissbier brewed by Kulmbacher. From their website "The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look." An absolute top notch Weizen with a Rate Beer rating of 98.

Last, but certainly not least is the amazing Kulmbacher Eisbock. Created by freezing off a portion of the water, and removing it from the beer. This process creates an intense and luscious beer with wonderful notes of dark fruits. Rate Beer gives it a 99. We are happy to see this back.

Many more are going on tomorrow including Lucky Bucket Certified Evil, North Coast Old Stock, St. Bernardus Abt. 12, and Sierra Nevada's seasonal Summerfest, and plenty others. We get things started at 4, so be here. We have a cooler bursting at the seems with secret kegs that will be making their way on draft soon. See you tomorrow.
