Boulevard Amber and NBC Melange a trios releases

I received a couple emails this weekend while I was away enjoying the wonderful weekend camping and wanted to get you updated.  First, this is from Boulevard and pertains mainly to the Lincoln and Omaha markets for their support of Boulevard.  Go out and take advantage of it.

Boulevard Amber AleAmber Ale will make its draught debut on Tuesday at Crescent Moon, Old Chicago Eagle Run, The Foundation and Old Chicago Cass. Because Omaha and Lincoln have embraced Boulevard for so many years, we wanted to say thanks for supporting Boulevard by making your markets the only places Amber Ale is currently available on draught. Cheers to you!

That is pretty cool, the ONLY places you can get it on draught right now.  The other email I got pertained to the release of Melange a Trios from Nebraska Brewing Company.
(Papillion, NE) – Nebraska Brewing Company is set to release the 2010 bottling of one of its Reserve Series Beers, Mélange a Trois. Mélange a Trois begins life as a Strong Belgian Blonde Ale and through a 10 month process emerges as an incredibly unique blend of both intense and subtle flavors.

Aptly titled, Mélange a Trois, or Blend of Three – Oak, Craft Beer, and Chardonnay notes combine to create something truly special. This Reserve Series Beer was originally bottled in 2008 and represented Nebraska Brewing Company’s lone entry into an elevated realm of Craft Beers that require great skill, patience, and a little luck. Since that time, Nebraska Brewing Company has added 3 other products to their Reserve Series Line – Fathead Barley Wine, Black Betty Russian Imperial Stout, and their Barrel-Aged Hop God.
Within Mélange a Trois, the essence of Chardonnay permeates while a subtle sweetness remains from the Ale itself. Oak tannins combine to create a fascinating mesh of dry, sweet, and wine-like character.

Paul Kavulak, President of Nebraska Brewing Company stated: “We’ve gone from an experiment gone well into a scaled-up, 1,500 bottle run – taking nearly 2 years to get here.” He noted further, “While still small by some standards, a 1,500 bottle run now allows us to reach markets beyond our immediately surrounding areas – and we’re very excited to do so.”
Kim Kavulak, Vice President & General Manager of Nebraska Brewing Company adds: “As a small Craft Brewer, it would be easy to brew a small core lineup, do it well and call it a day. Mélange a Trois is a beer that allows us to express our creativity outside of our daily lineup.”
Nebraska Brewing Company has set the release date for Mélange a Trois to be Tuesday June 15th and will host a release party at 6PM in the brewpub on this date. Mélange a Trois will be simultaneously released in the Nebraska, Iowa, New York & Oregon markets. Nebraska Brewing Company was formed in November of 2007 and has established itself as a Midwest Innovator of quality Craft Beers and artisanal Barrel-Aged Products. Building on a reputation for quality, flavor, and creativity – Nebraska Brewing Company strives to be a stand-out in an ever growing field.

Nebraska Brewing Company is proud to be a locally owned and locally operated brewpub in Papillion, Nebraska. Small, independent, and pushing the envelope.
